Energy Meters & EV Charger Hardware for the USA

UL Listing in Progress. OEM & White-Label Focus.

Tech OVN works with US-based EV charger OEMs and industrial B2B customers through two tracks: (1) the Titan family of IEC 62053 industrial energy meters for industrial sub-metering, data-centre PUE, and commercial audit deployments where NIST Handbook 44 traceability is not the primary driver; (2) our embedded OCPP EV charger controller for US EV charger brands building UL-listed chassis with our firmware and compliance stack. UL listing (UL 916 and UL 2594) is under qualification — US-finished-goods deployments of our charger hardware depend on this timeline. We recommend discussing fit before committing to a US-market procurement programme.

Why Tech OVN for United States

Four reasons importers, EPC partners, and OEM customers in United States work with our Haryana manufacturing line.

OEM controller track is live today

If you're a US EV charger OEM building your own UL-listed chassis, our embedded OCPP 2.0.1 controller lets you skip 9–12 months of firmware and protocol development. Your UL 2594 listing is on your chassis; our controller supplies the brain, OCPP stack, and metering integration.

Industrial metering for non-billing use

Titan is ideal for industrial sub-metering, data-centre PUE tracking, audit baselining, and ISO 50001 programmes — applications where NIST Handbook 44 traceability is not required. For utility-billing use, UL certification and PTB equivalence is under qualification.

Cost-competitive vs. in-region OEM sourcing

Indian manufacturing + Los Angeles or New York freight keeps landed cost 30–50% below equivalent Asian-sourced, US-imported alternatives for comparable specification. Meaningful margin release for US OEM customers pressured on BOM cost.

Full technical dossier for UL filings

For US OEM customers, we provide complete technical documentation (schematic, BOM, firmware source licence, EMC pre-compliance reports) to streamline your own UL listing effort on the finished charger or energy-meter product.

Product focus for United States

The Titan family of industrial energy meters and our OCPP EV charger range — the two product lines we actively export.

EV Charger Controller (OEM)

Primary US-market SKU. Embedded OCPP 2.0.1 controller for US EV charger OEMs building their own UL-listed chassis. Reference schematic, firmware licence, and compliance-support guidance included.

Titan — 3-Phase Smart Energy Meter

Class 0.5S DIN rail meter. For US industrial sub-metering, data-centre PUE, audit baselining — non-billing applications where IEC 62053 is acceptable.

Titan Audit — Portable Energy Logger

Split-core CTs, zero-downtime deployment. For US energy consultants running industrial audits and ESCO baseline measurements.

Type 2 22 kW EV Charger

Note: standard US AC is SAE J1772 (Type 1) / NACS, not Type 2. Our Type 2 variant is not a primary US SKU — specify only for specialty use (NACS-ready future roadmap, Tesla-only fleet, Type 2 destination pilot).

Standards & certifications

Titan meets IEC 62053-22 and IEC 62052-11. The EV charger controller is built for OCPP 2.0.1 stack integration into US OEM chargers. UL listing (UL 916 for energy meters, UL 2594 for EVSE) is under qualification. For the US market we expect most procurement to be OEM-driven — your finished product carries the UL mark, our hardware supplies the certified components. For applications requiring UL-listed finished goods from us directly, please discuss timeline before procurement commitment.

Our CE marking, UL listing, and UAE ECAS certifications are currently under qualification. Export deliveries today ship with IEC 62053 / IEC 62052 test reports and Indian BIS compliance documentation. Pilot orders and distributor sample units are available on request.

Deployment & logistics

We ship FOB Nhava Sheva / Mundra or CIF Los Angeles / Long Beach / New York / Savannah on request. Pacific transit is typically 25–30 days; Atlantic transit 30–35 days. OEM-volume orders 10–14 weeks from design-finalisation. Export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, Certificate of Origin, US customs classification, IEC test reports) in-house. 24-month warranty on hardware supplied to OEM customers; the finished-charger warranty is held by the OEM under their UL-listed product. Remote support in English — our India team covers US East Coast morning hours (GMT+5:30 = 18:00 IST to 02:00 IST).

Frequently asked questions

What importers and EPC partners typically ask before a sample order.

UL listing (UL 916 for energy meters, UL 2594 for EVSE) is currently under qualification as part of our North-America compliance programme. Today, US OEM customers use our hardware as an embedded component — your finished charger or meter product carries your own UL listing, with our hardware supplied under OEM supply contract. For direct UL-listed finished-goods procurement, the certification timeline is part of our 2026 roadmap.
No — US standard AC is SAE J1772 (Type 1) for legacy and NACS (Tesla-style) for new. Type 2 is non-standard for US public and residential AC charging. We do not currently supply Type 1 or NACS AC chargers. Our primary US-market SKU is the embedded OCPP charger controller, which US OEMs integrate into their own Type 1 or NACS chassis.
Not today. US utility billing requires NIST Handbook 44 compliance and typically a Public Utilities Commission-approved meter type. Our meters are IEC 62053 — suitable for industrial sub-metering, data-centre PUE, tenant sub-metering (non-billing), ISO 50001 audits, and OEM integration. For revenue-grade utility metering, we are not a US-market supplier.
Typically: (1) initial technical call to scope your product roadmap and hardware needs. (2) Sample order (5–20 units of controller or meter) for qualification and UL-filing prep. (3) Production supply agreement with firm delivery schedule, revision-control, and firmware-maintenance terms. (4) For larger OEMs, we dedicate an engineer for firmware customisation and integration support.
The same OEM controller track applies to Canadian OEMs; we ship via the same west-coast and east-coast US ports, or direct to Vancouver / Montreal on request. CSA listing is not yet in progress — Canadian procurement follows the same OEM-embedded path as the US market.
Remote support in English, typically covering US East Coast morning hours from India. Spares air-freighted from Haryana to LAX, JFK, ORD, or ATL in 48–72 hours. For OEM customers, we dedicate named engineering contact for firmware, protocol-stack, and integration issues.
