- Accuracy class. Class 0.5S is the auditor-grade benchmark for energy consumption measurement — tighter than the Class 1.0 portable loggers commonly found at the budget end. For ISO 50001 baselines, IPMVP-aligned ESCO contracts, or BEE PAT submissions, specify Class 0.5S.
- Channel count and CT range. A 3-phase 4-wire logger covers most industrial loads. CT range matters — a logger supplied with 100A CTs but needing 600A or 1000A CTs on a transformer secondary means an extra purchase plus delay. Confirm CT range matches the load profile of your typical client.
