Guest Amenity, Not Cost Centre
Guests increasingly expect on-site EV charging. Installing a charger at your hotel is equivalent to offering WiFi ten years ago — guests filter by it on OTAs and book accordingly.
Per-Guest Billing
Every charger meters each session and reports it over OCPP 1.6J / 2.0.1 to the charging management system (CMS) you choose. Your team can then post sessions to the guest folio from the CMS records.
Demand Visibility
Hotel peak demand is already high (HVAC + kitchen + laundry). A Titan energy meter on the charger feeder shows exactly what the chargers add to your maximum demand, so you can size the connection and set charging hours with real data.
Rooftop Solar Pairing
If your hotel already has rooftop solar, encourage daytime charging to use more of your own generation. Titan meters on the solar and charger feeders show how much of the charging energy came from the roof.
Sizing guide by hotel type
A right-sized deployment depends on guest mix, parking count, and grid connection. Typical starting points below.
Budget Hotels (up to 40 rooms)
1–2 × 3.3 kW Single Socket chargers. Good for overnight guest charging. Simple wall-mount install.
Mid-market Hotels (40–150 rooms)
2–4 × 7.4 kW or 11 kW Type 2 chargers in the guest parking area, sized for overnight and half-day stays.
Luxury / Resort Hotels (150+ rooms)
4–8 × 11 kW or 22 kW Type 2 chargers, with the supply sized for all of them running together. A valet-operated charger at the porte-cochère suits guests arriving with a low battery.
Highway Resorts & Dhabas
2–4 × 22 kW Type 2 AC chargers for meal-stop and overnight top-ups. Our range is AC only; for short highway stops that need DC fast charging, pair our AC chargers with a specialist DC supplier. Check PM E-DRIVE and state charging incentives for the site.
What we supply, and what your contractor does
Tech OVN supplies the chargers and metering, a bill of quantities, commissioning support and help with OCPP integration to your charging management system. For bulk orders we can adapt charger firmware to suit your platform. Site surveys, DB modification and civil work (bay marking, bollards, signage) are done by your electrical contractor.
Because we manufacture the charger hardware in-house, you deal with one vendor for the charger, its OCPP firmware and the energy-metering layer that records every charging session.

Beyond EV: the full hotel stack
EV charging is usually the headline project, but the same meter family covers three other hotel pain points. Titan Plus BTU on the chilled-water loop lets you track HVAC efficiency (COP) continuously — HVAC is usually one of the largest electrical loads in a hotel. Titan on the kitchen, laundry, and tower sub-feeds lets you see which wing is drifting and which floor is leaving corridor lights on. Titan Compliance on the fire-pump feeder logs the weekly and monthly pump test runs, so the test record for the next fire inspection is a report instead of a logbook hunt.
Hotel groups often start with EV charging because guests see it, then add sub-metering and fire-pump test logging in a second phase — same vendor, same dashboard.
