NABL Accredited Testing & Calibration — ISO/IEC 17025

Every Tech OVN meter goes through rigorous calibration and testing in line with the global ISO/IEC 17025 standard for testing and calibration laboratories. Our calibration is accredited by NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories), which means each test report carries the NABL symbol and the CAB Combined ILAC MRA Mark.

Why this matters: NABL is a signatory to the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement. Accreditation bodies in other ILAC MRA economies recognise test reports issued under the ILAC MRA Mark as technically equivalent to their own, which helps our calibration data be accepted abroad. It does not replace product certification or national approvals — those (such as CE, which Titan holds) are still required market by market.

Yes. Tech OVN holds two active BIS licenses: CM/L 951284321 for IS 13779 (static energy meters, Class 1 and Class 2) and CM/L 9512485222 for IS 16444 (smart energy meters). Both can be verified directly on the BIS portal at manakonline.in.

Our products go through calibration and testing in line with ISO/IEC 17025 under NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accreditation. NABL is a signatory to the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement, so our test reports carry the CAB Combined ILAC MRA Mark, which accreditation bodies in other ILAC MRA economies recognise as technically equivalent. That supports acceptance of our calibration data abroad, but it does not replace product certifications or market-specific approvals (such as CE, UKCA or national type approvals), which depend on each country's rules.

It depends on the market. Our calibration and test reports are issued under NABL with the ILAC MRA Mark, which helps them be accepted by accreditation bodies in other ILAC MRA economies. But ILAC MRA recognition does not replace product certification: each country's own requirements (for example CE in the EU, UKCA in Great Britain, or national type approvals) still apply. Titan meters are CE certified; tell us your target market and we will confirm what documentation we can provide.
